2024 Oklahoma Food Truck Championship Food Truck Application

We are very appreciative of the interest you have shown in the Oklahoma Food Truck Championship. This is a FREE to attend event for the patrons with live music and events for the whole family. Based on past Championship attendance, we anticipate 15,000 people will attend the 2024 Championship. The event will be advertised in the OKC, Tulsa, and north Texas markets and will take place Saturday, September 28, 2024.

There is a non-refundable $50 application fee.

Applications submitted without fee will not be considered for competition.

Please pay via PayPal ( and include food truck name in note.

Please submit a menu, pictures of your truck, and a high-resolution logo with your completed application. Those should be sent to or uploaded below.

Applications will be accepted from April 1, 2024 through May 31, 2024 or until spots are full. $10,000 in prizes are up for grabs.

Rules & Regulations

If selected:

  1. You will need to provide proof of $1M liability insurance with Chickasha Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chickasha named on the certificate as an additional insured.

  2. Pay a $150 entry fee ($50 application fee + $150 entry fee = $200 total competition fee) Total balance due by 9.1.2024.

  3. Each food truck will be required to honor seven (7) meal vouchers (up to $12 value) to be redeemed by OFTC. Any additional food vouchers honored will be reimbursed to you at the end of the event.

  4. Each food truck will be required to get a $25 City Food Truck Permit from City Hall - (405) 222-6020 ask for Community Development - Click here for safety information and checklist 

  5. Out of state trucks need to obtain a temporary health permit from the Grady County Health Dept.

  6. Each Applicable Truck will be reviewed by our Food Truck Committee and will be contacted whether they are selected or not by June 15, 2024.

  7. Trucks must arrive by 8 AM and be ready to serve or sell to the public by 10:30 AM at the latest. While trucks are accountable for filing their own sales tax, they must provide OFTC their sales tax permit.

  8. Each truck is responsible for their own sales and sales tax.

  9. Each truck will need to prepare five (5) separate portions of the items they are submitting to the judges.

  10. Each truck should be prepared to provide their own generator and water as neither will be provided.

  11. Schedule of events:

​                                     8:00 AM Trucks arrive

                                   10:30 AM Start of event. Trucks ready to serve the public. You will be given a schedule listing the time your dish for competition will be picked up.

                                  11: 00 AM Judging begins

                                     4:00 PM Judging Ends

                                     5:00 PM Winners Announced

                                     9:00 PM End of event

   12. If you are selected and participate in the 2024 OFTC but are unable to stay until the event is over or run out of food, you will not be invited back to the competition. We expect up to 15,000 people to attend the event and there will be 30-35 food trucks. Please plan accordingly.
